Growing up Barndt…
Sisters Alyssa and Sara have been in real estate even before they were “in’ real estate. Their Grandad, Paul Barndt Sr, started The Barndt Agency, Inc in the 1960s right here in the Perkiomen Valley. Eventually his son Paul Jr joined the team as both a real estate agent and insurance agent. When Paul Jr., started his family it wasn’t long before the kids would stop by the office to visit Dad, Grandad and the rest of the agents. Alyssa and Sara saw first hand what it was like behind the scenes of real estate and insurance.
Both sisters were intrigued and always willing to help out around the office when they were young into their teens. It wasn’t until after school that both sisters decided to officially join the family business as licensed realtors.
Alyssa decided to obtain her license when she purchased her first home. Currently she is practicing real estate part-time, and supports the team with feedback on their social and marketing efforts. Behind the scenes day to day is the youngest Barndt, Sara. In 2017 Sara obtained her real estate, and in 2018 her notary license. In addition to managing the office Sara is also heading all of the social media content and marketing efforts.
