Paul Barndt, Jr.

Broker/Owner
Email Paul

Paul is the Broker and Owner of The Barndt Agency and is the second generation to run the company. The Agency was founded by his late father in 1963. Paul is a graduate of Shippensburg University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Real Estate and Finance. He has been helping clients in both Real Estate and Insurance since joining the Agency in 1983.

Paul has been active with the local Association of Realtors and Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. He was President of the local Association in 1996 and had the honor of his peers electing him as Realtor of the Year. He still serves on various committees. Paul has seen a lot of changes in the real estate industry over the years, but believes being involved with the Association keeps him current to the changes.

Paul enjoys all aspects of the business. However, he enjoys working with first time home buyers in helping them locate their first home. He loves to be part of their excitement and enthusiasm in this process. In the area that we serve many of the homes are serviced by on-site septic systems which can be a challenge as these systems age. Paul has gained much knowledge over the years in working with these systems when it comes to repairs and or replacement and is able to advise home sellers accordingly.

Paul enjoys spending time at his small farm tending to the daily chores and raising beef cattle. He is also an advocate of giving back to the community and is involved in the Lions Club, Boys Scouts, Chamber of Commerce and his church. He is also passionate about heading north in the winter on snowmobiling adventures.

HOME BUYER TIP:

Make sure you select a Realtor who has knowledge of the local area.

My passion for real estate started at a young age, my nickname around the office was “future boss”. I knew early on that I wanted to follow in my grandfather’s and father’s footsteps in real estate.

At the Barndt Agency I am known to wear many hats supporting our company and clients. I am often the person behind the scenes designing our marketing materials, taking property photographs, handling the MLS and posting on our many social media accounts. In 2017, I received my real estate licence and have been under the guidance of a great team!

I am a local. I grew up in Green Lane and am a graduate of Souderton Area High School with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Montgomery County Community College.

When I am not at the office handing real estate or notary matters you can find me in the kitchen baking or working out at the gym. I’m always willing to go out of my way to do things for others and will do what it takes to get the job done!

Alyssa has been interested in real estate since a very young age, which is not surprising since she grew up in the business. When Alyssa was 16 years old she officially started working at The Barndt Agency.

After graduating from Temple University with a degree in marketing and a focus in digital marketing she decided to pursue her marketing degree as a Marketing Associate at a local senior living community. She has since grown into the role of Marketing Director at The Birches of Harleysville.

It wasn’t until she purchased her first home that she decided to obtain her real estate license.

“My passion for real estate was still there so while purchasing my own first home, I obtained my real estate license.
I am proud to be following in the footsteps of my grandfather and my dad, by helping you buy or sell your home!”

– Alyssa Staudt

HOME BUYER TIP:
Get to know the neighborhood, not just the house.

FIRST TIME HOME BUYER TIP:
Buy the home that will still fit your needs 3-5 years from now.
